Every brew that comes out of Omission Brewing is meticulously crafted to minimize gluten content. Here’s the process they follow:
Step 1: Brewing The fundamental ingredients in Omission Beer are barley, wheat, hops, and yeast.
Step 2: Fermentation The creation of Omission beer occurs when the brewer’s yeast consumes malt sugars, resulting in the production of alcohol, carbon dioxide, and distinctive flavor and aroma.
Step 3: Adding Enzyme Brewers Clarex is introduced into Omission beer, an enzyme that disrupts the gluten protein chains.
Step 4: Packaging Omission beer is packaged in a hygienic, segregated environment to completely avoid any cross-contamination.
Step 5: Gluten Testing The R5 Competitive ELISA technique is used both in-house and at an independent lab to measure the gluten content in the beer. Omission Beer consistently tests far below the 20ppm mark. Learn more about the specific batch you have.
