Columbus, Ohio, January 1, 2022 — Today, NA Beer Club launches their online store for consumers to purchase craft non-alcoholic beer. NA beer drinkers can now order from the growing list of beers and brands for at-home delivery.
NA Beer Club has traditionally operated as a ‘beer-of-the-month club‘ for non-alcoholic craft beer. Subscribers receive a new and unique NA beer each month allowing them to discover new styles and brands. They will continue to run their monthly subscription service alongside the new online store.
The NA Beer Club Story
The company was founded by two brothers, Carl and Mark Ruf, who were inspired by their father, Greg, to start a non-alcoholic beer company.
“After an unexpected diagnosis, our father’s doctor advised him to give up drinking alcohol.” Said Carl Ruf, co-founder of NA Beer Club. “This was unfortunate because he was an avid beer drinker. Fortunately he found NA beer to help scratch the itch.
At that time however, the NA beer market looked very different than how it looks today.
“To be honest, there just wasn’t a great selection at the time.” Said Mark Ruf about his father’s early experiences with NA beer. “There were only a handful of non-alcoholic beers available at the time and they just weren’t the same as the real thing.”
The family’s desire to seek new NA beers sparked the idea for NA Beer Club.
“Around Christmas time one year we decided to gift our father some craft NA beer. We didn’t really know where to look so we thought an NA beer-of-the-month club would make the perfect gift for him… except there were none that existed. That’s when we conceived of NA Beer Club,” said Carl.
Now the company ships NA beer to hundreds of customers all over the United States each month. Each box comes with a unique Trading Card with information about the beer included as well as a tasting card for drinkers to rate the beer on various factors.
With many more breweries popping up and brewing some of the best NA beer available, NA Beer Club now has plenty of options to work with. Â
The Online NA Beer Store
“While we were sending beer through our monthly subscription, people would reach out asking where they could purchase more beer. Or just where to buy NA beer in general. We realized this was a good opportunity for us to help our customers get the NA beer they want.” Said Mark.
The family decided it was time to start selling beer directly to consumers on top of the monthly subscription.
After forming relationships with a handful of breweries around the US, they were ready to launch their platform.
How is NA Beer Club different than other online NA beer stores?
The brothers had previously purchased beer from other online stores selling non-alcoholic beer. However, their experiences inspired them to do things differently for their store.
“We had purchased NA beer from other online stores… We often received old beer that was brewed many months before we received it.” Mark cautioned. “Given many NA beer’s short shelf life, we didn’t want our customers to have the same experience.”
Any beer that customers order from NA Beer Club, is shipped directly from the brewery where it was made, ensuring that they receive the freshest beer possible.
“Our partner breweries also love the fact they get to send beer directly to our customers.” Said Mark. “They make sure they’re getting the best product, and that it’s durably packaged to handle getting tossed around as well as extreme temperatures.”
The store also serves as a great supplement to the monthly subscription service. Most customers purchase a subscription as a gift for an NA drinker in their life, allowing them to discover and sample different NA beers. Now they have a place to turn around and purchase more of the beer they sample and fall in love with.

Currently brands like Atmos Brewing, AL’s, and ItsaLika Beer, are listed with many more breweries interested in joining.
The store you see today may look very different in just a few weeks as more become available.
“We’re just getting started.” Said Mark. “We’re launching with just a handful of brews, but we’re going to grow our selection substantially. Our goal is to feature beers you may not be able to find many other places, giving customers a look at all the great, unique NA beers that are out there.”
