About Wellbeing Brewing

St. Louis, MO

Jeff Stevens chose a path of sobriety years ago, recognizing that alcohol and he were not destined for a harmonious relationship. Yet, his love for live music, socializing, and companionship found him frequently in bars, enjoying non-alcoholic (NA) beer. This beverage acted as a savior of sorts, allowing him to engage wholly in the fun without compromising his sobriety.

However, when the craft beer revolution introduced an array of styles and unique flavors, NA beer remained static. This sparked a question in Jeff’s mind, and in 2017, he and his wife and business partner, Genevieve, answered it by founding WellBeing Brewing. Their vision was to craft a variety of high-quality, non-alcoholic beers that could be enjoyed on any social occasion. The aim was not just to provide an alternative, but to shift the perception associated with ‘not drinking’. Today, WellBeing Brewing stands as a pioneer in carving out a new beverage niche focused on better-for-you, purpose-brewed craft beer.

At WellBeing Brewing, the ethos is not just about brewing; it’s about promoting wellbeing. People are increasingly recognizing the benefits of moderate or no alcohol consumption, joining the movement towards a mindful lifestyle that blends the social fun of a traditional beer with the intentionality of wellbeing.

Historically, NA beers are created through stopping fermentation or boiling the alcohol off, each method posing its own problems including overly sweet or watery outcomes, or the notorious ‘B note’ aftertaste. However, WellBeing Brewing utilizes state-of-the-art technology, imported from Germany, which carefully removes the alcohol from fully-brewed craft beer through a vacuum process at lowered temperatures. The result is a craft non-alcoholic beer that retains all the body, aroma, mouthfeel, and flavor of fully-brewed craft beer, sans the alcohol.

Wellbeing Brewing offers other great NA beers like Hellraiser Dark Amber, Heavenly Body Golden Wheat, Intentional IPA, and Wandering Islands Pale Ale.
