About Road 2 Ruin Zero
Two Roads Brewing has launched Road 2 Ruin Zero, a non-alcoholic version of its popular Road 2 Ruin Double IPA. This alcohol-free brew delivers the same bold, hoppy flavors with citrus, pine, and floral notes, along with a crisp bitterness that mirrors the original. Brewmaster Phil Markowski used an arrested fermentation process to maintain the beer’s full flavor while keeping alcohol levels under 0.5%.
With just 70 calories, Road 2 Ruin Zero is perfect for any day of the week, offering a lighter option without sacrificing taste. It joins Two Roads’ growing lineup of non-alcoholic beers, including their award-winning Non-Alcoholic Juicy IPA. Available in 6-packs of 12 oz cans, Road 2 Ruin Zero is now shipping nationwide.
As the non-alcoholic beer market expands, Two Roads is committed to continued innovation. And according to Markowski, “Stay tuned” for what’s coming next.
About Two Roads Brewing
Stratford, Connecticut
Two Roads Brewing opened in December 2012 after transforming a century-old brick factory in Stratford, CT. The brewery’s name and philosophy, inspired by the Robert Frost poem “The Road Not Taken,” reflect its commitment to crafting innovative beers using top-quality brewing equipment. Since its founding, Two Roads has grown into one of the top 10 breweries in the Northeast, boasting two tasting rooms on its 10-acre campus, including the Area Two Innovation Center.
In line with growing trends, Two Roads plans to release several non-alcoholic beers, beginning with a non-alcoholic Juicy IPA. Director of Marketing Collin Kennedy notes that this release is a natural fit, as both Juicy IPAs and non-alcoholic beers are gaining in popularity. Two Roads has crafted a 70-calorie, non-alcoholic IPA that stays true to its reputation for producing high-quality, great-tasting brews.
CEO Brad Hittle credits much of the brewery’s success to Master Brewer Phil Markowski, one of the industry’s most respected and innovative brewers. With a brewing career spanning since 1989 and numerous awards under his belt, including several Great American Beer Festival (GABF) medals, Markowski’s expertise was pivotal in developing this non-alcoholic beer. Hittle praised the result, saying, “Phil’s goal was to create an NA that could easily be mistaken for a full-powered Juicy IPA, and he’s done just that.”
Markowski reflected on the challenge of creating a non-alcoholic beer that meets the high standards set by Two Roads’ traditional Juicy IPAs, such as the highly-rated Two Juicy. After 18 months of development, he believes they’ve achieved a flavorful, authentic non-alcoholic IPA that stands alongside their traditional offerings.

Hoppy Goodness
I find the finish of many NA IPA’s to have a finish that leaves a bad taste. This is clean and crisp. Really enjoyed it.
